The Brief
The Chorister School, Durham Cathedral, was celebrating it's 600th anniverary and wanted to find a means to encapsulate and communicate this achievement. Events were planned for the year and the brief was to inspire current and prospective pupils and enable a re-connection with former pupils.
The Solution
We worked with The Chorister School to create an identity for the event that represented the values and heritage of the school, connecting its choir school history with its current academic success.
An invitation was created around a visual timeline to inform and encourage parents and former pupils to participate. The celebrations included a Royal visit by the Countess of Wessex, and culminated in a thanks giving service at Durham Cathedral and gala dinner led by Terry Waite CBE.
Materials included Order of Service, menus, stick pins, champagne label and flag which was flown on the central bell tower of the Cathedral.
